The fact that our company has managed to strengthen its position on the footwear market, and our classic and sports models meet with continued success and appreciation among youngsters as well as older customers, is proof enough that our products have superbly won the wager of being and remaining products of very special quality. This characteristic feature of our very own, gives that special look to BENSON SHOES, which is nothing less than the result of a lengthy manufacturing process summarized in the diagram given here below:

- Identification of the suitable raw material constitutes one of our principal concerns. For this reason, on a regular basis, we search the largest European markets in order to uncover the best leathers meeting our requirements of quality and hygiene. This initial phase is so crucial that our company entrusts the selection of leathers to widely experienced field workers who always manage to discover the impeccable specimens required, in particular from French tanneries enjoying good reputations for the tanning of calf skins.
- Our primary focus is on craftsmanship, or handwork requiring highly specialized skills that for us, constitute a genuine vocation.
- Cutting of the different parts of a shoe, the upper, lining or sole, etc. is entirely done by hand. The other assembly and stitching work is performed with the utmost care and requires numerous manual interventions.
- For example, the welt is sewn to the upper of the shoe. After, it is tucked under so the shoe can be stitched a second time on the outsole.
- Filling of the cavity between the upper and outsole consists of a mixture of cork powder and glue. This makes it easy for the wearer to detect the highly customized nature of our products after only a few days of use.
- These examples of manual operations bring into play both agility and finesse, meaning that all our productions bear the very special mark of our craftsmen who have become full-fledged masters of Goodyear hand-sewn items.
